2014

Another year goes by. It is the time where we are almost forced to look back and analyze everything we have done and the place in which we are at today. While many of us might have pictured ourselves somewhere else, we are here for a reason. The times may have been difficult this past year but it is time to give ourselves new goals which I am certain we can all achieve. Now, I am not saying it will be easy, I admit that I will struggle to keep up with it. But this new year, lets hope to make things different and better. When I say "hope" I don't mean to wait for it to happen, I mean for opportunities to come our way and for ourselves to be ready and willing to put the work into it when they do come. I now understand that positive change is a gradual thing that is exhausting and time consuming. However, the rewards of hard work is sweeter and more fulfilling than anything any of us have experienced.
Today we will start a new year. While these few days we may feel pumped and dedicated to achieve what we have been yearning for, lets not give up after sometime. Have someone to encourage you, if not have reminders for yourself. Write on your calendar, give yourself a reason to what you are doing. The purpose of your struggle is valuable and should be rewarded. Even if there is little or no result to your effort there will always be a reward; sometimes it's not what we expected.
I write this with positive thoughts, hoping that I follow through just as much as my heart wants to. It is easy to give up but so much harder to continue. It is the time we take a stand against our insecurities, our fears, our doubts, our borders and work with what we have. Of course, it is easier said than done, but I know that it is possible.
Here are some of my New Years resolutions, which I hope like all of you to follow through with them:
  • Post five-four times a week
  • Photograph More often
  • Do More Art
  • Be Healthy
Stay lovely and Happy New year!
