Sometimes, I get a little obsessed over a piece of clothing, a book, a movie or anything in between. These things however, they represent my likes for a certain period of my life. The best part about this, is that I am able to immortalize the person I am and one day was. When I look at this I can't help but think of the exact moment I bought these things and how I wore them or used them. Little pieces of memories are saved in each one of them, making them more valuable.
So Here is a Brief Explanation to each and everyone of these items you see: MY DECEMBER FAVORITES!
Clarinet Book: In high school I played the Clarinet for about three years. To be honest, I couldn't fathom how I forgot everything negative when I played. It was just so beautiful! Yea, its a weird instrument but its sound is glorious. Maybe I am a little bias here. haha
Pacific Rim Movie: The first time I watched this movie I FELL IN LOVE! I am serious. Well, some might say obsession. I was unable to only watch this movie once so I asked one of my very good friends to watch it with me just because I wanted to watch it again! But you know, now that I bought the movie itself you can expect how crazy I would go... I confess, I have watched it almost every day of my christmas break, It's just THAT good! Thank God I have a digital copy for my computer now ;D
Prismacolor Pencils: Besides being a movie junkie I also paint and draw. While I am not so good with colors (only when I was about five years old) I do like using them now and then.
Dante's Inferno: Ooooo! This is one of my favorite plays! and have you played the game? SO GOOD! Anyway, I read this book during my senior year and I absolutely loved it. I know it is a bit gruesome and sick sometimes but its message and the vivid descriptions are absolutely stunning. I swear I can see each of those hell guardians and sinners clearly in my head. such a great play.
California Republic Beanie: This I acquired during Black Friday for only $5! Yea I know, I was super happy to find this. Not only is it warm but it gives me this chola look. Okay, I'm playing. I just enjoy the way it looks on me.
Seventeen Magazine: Although I'm eighteen (about to turn nineteen) I enjoy flipping through Seventeen (that was a mouth full huh?). I would say this was one of the few magazines I grew up with, aside from National Geographic. Of course, as you can see the page is about BOOTS! I love shoes.
UCLA Scarf: This Fall I entered UCLA as a freshman, anddddd scarfs are my thang! they keep my neck warm and are just such amazing fashionable accessories. I bought this during an insane sale at campus. I almost had to fight and play tug of war with an old lady juts to get this! yea.. I am playing, again! But on the serious side the sale was insane and super cheap compared to the usual price of college gear.
Covergirl Mascara: I don't really wear much makeup, but I love wearing mascara. It gives this pop to my eyes and helps out my face when I am super tired. Besides it also makes it look like I wear more makeup than usual when unreality I am just enhancing my eyelashes.
Stay Lovely and Happy Friday,
