Giants

Ever thought about how different we would be if people wouldn't have landed on the right spot at the right moment? If they would have been too shy and cautious of what they were saying? If they would have been timid and decided not to do something they really wanted to do? The achievement of every individual --although we might not be directly connected to them-- have influenced our lives in such a positive way that our growth and existence on this planet is incredible.
I heard this quote a while back and it's such a beautiful and simple way to acknowledge our existence as wise individuals. By standing on the shoulders of my parents, my friends, my mentors, and my professors I am able to see how privileged I am. The beauty of the world is written in every leaf that falls, grows, or dies. It is only those who are cautious that realize it and see beauty and innovation all around them.
First day of Spring was just yesterday, here is a toast for new beginnings, warmer days, and more adventure.
