The Big 20

It's been almost a month since I turned 20. It's really not such a big deal but It's the turn of a century in my life and I am hopeful for the future. While I was extremely busy with school and trying to catch up with everything going on, let me tell you the amazing time I had for about a week.
First of all, I ate the most delicious food during an entire week. I assure you, I felt a bit spoiled. Yet being with a few handful of friends helped me realize the importance of those few. The simple notion of appreciating the valuable time spent with a few friends is truly a blessing.
That entire birthday weekend was magical to some extent, but it was also bittersweet. I say this because I only hope to always have the best possible company I can have (which will not always happen). Of course, I hope my kin grows, but I wouldn't want to lose any of those who are already part of it. Although we often surround ourselves with hurtful and bitter relationships, I aim to know when to say no and leave behind those who suddenly work against you.
On a brighter side, my friends truly treated me to a time of laughter, happiness, and beautiful memories. I went to BJ's where I had the cutest birthday Pizookie and Gjelina where I had the chance to spot John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

Overall, I don't think I have had so much fun in one week altogether. I had the opportunity to spend it with my family and dear friends. That is all I could truly ask for.
Till next time,
MB
P.S. I also went to Cheesecake Factory and had the Steak Diane, which was absolutely delicious! Didn't take any photos because I was more in the moment than concerned about picture perfect photos (which you know I am very dedicated to obtaining. It's the photographer in me).
