Prom 2014

A year since my Prom has flown by. I am saddened and happy that time has changed my life, yet I am in a better place now. During my senior prom I was fortunate enough to know a kind friend of mine who gave me everything I possibly needed to easy the economic strain of pulling money together for prom. While I definitely bought my gorgeous dress (it was a wine color), I did not have enough money to pay for other essentials such as makeup and hair. However, because of her I was able to receive the help I needed and an amazing day as well. Because a year has passed I decided to give back to other girls who were now in the same situation that I had been a year ago.

The most rewarding part about giving back is seeing the results. I am truly honored and pleased to have given all of these girls a memento of such a special day. All completely free and with lots of love. While I certainly do not know these ladies, I relate to them due to their struggle and yet capability of succeeding. All of these girls are on the road to a four year university. I couldn't be more proud.
To find more information about this project and the girls which I ( along with others) were able to help please check out the Facebook page of A Night To Remember.
Happy Monday,
